Gantry Cranes - Recent Price Trend

During the three years to 2018, gantry crane prices have been rising at an estimated annualized rate of 0.6%. This increase has largely been due to inflating costs of production as steel and aluminum prices have grown. About this Report

This report is intended to assist buyers of gantry cranes. Gantry cranes, also known as portal cranes, consist of an overhead bridge supported by two or more legs that are fixed to the ground or run on either wheels or a fixed rail at ground level. They are used in manufacturing facilities and warehouses to lift and move heavy objects. Gantry cranes are typically sold through crane manufacturers and construction machinery wholesalers. This report does not discuss industrial-size gantry cranes used by industrial ship builders, tower cranes or truck-mounted cranes. Overhead cranes, which are similar to gantry cranes but run on elevated rails rather than legs, are also excluded.
